32 Days!!!

Okay, so we're just about to reach our 1 month 'to go' time slot. And, just this afternoon, I realised I'm going to miss days 11 through 3 as I will be on a family holiday. Which I didn't want to go on in the first place. But whatever. They aren't massive milestones. I'd be able to post, but I don't have a computer or Internet. But I may be able to post from my phone if I go for a drive. so yeah.

I also realised yesterday that i forgot to tell you the Australian dollar conversions. And I apologise for this. But hardly any of you noticed because it was so long and boring. or you just haven't read it yet.

Today, I'm going to include a base list of clothes to pack for America. As some of you have been asking for it. Please note this is just a base. if you get extra cold, I'd pack more. I'd advise you to try and only pack your suitcase half full, so that you can fit in your newly acquired purchases.

Clothes to bring:
Layered clothing is best for cool locations (like Seattle!!!!!)
2 or 3 pairs of track pants (school trackies if you have nothing else)
6 T Shirts
3 pairs of jean (or more if you are a really messy person)
3 Long Sleeves
Hat/sun wear – bikinis, board shorts!!!!!!!!
2 Jumpers
2 pairs of shorts
2 or 3 skirts
a dress if you wish
scarf, beanie, gloves
3 singlet tops (can be used as under clothing)
6 days worth of underwear (boxers, bras, undies, briefs, whichever you prefer)
6 pairs of socks
joggers
good shoes (for girls) like boots or stilettos
thongs (not the underwear. but you can if you wish)
slippers (UGG boots even)
2 pairs 3/4 pants
1 trench coat (for girls, if they prefer)

So yeah, there is your base list of stuff to bring, clothes-wise. When Mr. D emails more information, I'll add it. I'll also re post this information closer to the date (but, how much closer can you get before needing to pack). If I've forgotten anything, let me know. I don't think I have.

In answer to the question I asked you the day before yesterday (about Tracey) I have received an answer:

""I Would shove a sock in her mouth, then tape it to her head. she would prob still be making muffled sounds so i would steal her headphones, then listen to her good songs. to excuse myself i would say that the pilot needed help steering and i am the only one capable, and no even if she does have a pilots licence she isn't allowed coz they cant trust Asians... hehe"" love josie.

I thought that was pretty funny, so I included it.

Now, as some of you may know, I'm getting an ipod touch for Christmas and we will be able to play the music on it loudspeaker during bus rides, or maybe even during flight. If you guys have any preference of music for me to put on (actual songs, not just artists names.) I will do so.

I don't think I have much more to say, other than that the AUS $ has gone up to $65 US cents. which is good. I'd also like to announce that as of today, I have about $800 US. And that's with more than 4 weeks to go. Sorry to flaunt it to you all.

Goodnight chickens.

Sleep well.

xx
