How was boxing day? did anyone actually do anything with boxes?
Well I, being the responsible one, shall not forget the US conversion. which is 68.56c, which when rounded up would be...gasp! 69c!!!!!!!!!! so hurry up and buy your dollar right now! (I think)
My host said that she had 2 inch snowfall at her house and was snow shoveling, which was a good sign I suppose for us if we want snow. Also, if they say 30 degrees F they mean 0 degrees C. And it was 28 degrees F the day she emailed me... guess how cold that is!! And Americans use Celsius too, though not as much as we do.
Also, don't go out with wet hair. Though it won't freeze immediately, water WILL freeze in below zero temps. Unless global warming made Seattle a tropical paradise when we visit... but anyway, maybe it will get warmer.
Fact of the day... Look at these town names...
Paradox, New York
Crapo, Maryland
Boogertown, North Carolina
Spasticville, Kansas
Hellhole, Idaho
Purgatory, Maine
Doesn't Edward live in purgatory? oops it's in Maine, he'll get melanoma pretty quickly with that pale skin of his... *imagines Edward with sun burnt skin... he should build a career on being a disco ball. It'll work you know, and it's a pretty nifty job, being strung up in the air watching people make out beneath him... God I ramble on way too much. Well...
anxiously waiting for the free stuff from hotels and planes,
Tracey^^
