Hey guys!!!!
Today, I received an email which people have been asking me about since I included my own list of what to bring. A lot of you thought that we should pack for 6 days, instead of a month, like my list suggested. and just so you know, that was about 7 days for me. So yeah.
Anyway, here's Mr D's list -
Hat, sunglasses and sunscreen (small tube / disposable)
5 Pairs of socks (two thick pair or pair of your preference for snow skiing on optional day)
Skiing gloves and goggles (optional, and best discussed with your host family to see if they may be able to provide some for the one day you could be skiing)
6 pairs of undies / undergarments
5 shirts ( 3 long sleeve)
3 singlets or thermals
2 dress shirts
1 track suit
2 pairs of jeans (wearing one on the plane)
toiletry items
gift 4 family
1 spray jacket (or poncho taronga zoo style. I'd rather you dry than fashionably wet, this is the rainy city)
One jacket that will be warm enough for about 0 degrees C to about 12 degrees C
EWT jumper
So yeah. Considerably smaller than my list, but alas, he also forgot pj's.
Now, I actually had an answer to a couple of day's ago question from Tracey. its the one about the emergency room.
Anyway, her answer is that she would - ""one way i'll land in the er is by tripping over my feet, falling down 2 storeys and falling out my window. hopefully by then ill get to use crutches""
mine would probably be by eating anything during the whole trip, and having an allergic reaction. lol.
I'm still expecting some answers to yesterday's question so I'll leave that one open.
HOORAY!!!!!!!!! The AUS $ reached 67 cents for the first time in a month. this is a good sign. And yes, I did just go and count through my previous blogs. =]]
Also, there are only 5 people left to hosted,as far as we know this includes Mrs. West, Aaron, David, Irene, Lydia. And I'm sure there's more, so unless one of you aren't telling me something, someone is lying to me. Mr. D was hosted as well, so yeah.
Oh, if you attended the meeting and noticed the groups were unevenly split, its okay, its only for safety reasons. Really. The less people Mr. D has to look after, the less money he has to pay the the students parents when he returns to Australia without them. It also turned out Mrs. Gilbertson had the largest group, have fun guys! But I still think my group, with Gareth (Mrs. West's son) is the best by far. I mean, we have Tracey. lol. And me. =]]
Today's question is - one thing you want to do at the airport besides get on the plane.
Til tomorrow kittens,
Amanda
Love Ya
