OMG It's 3 weeks until we leave!!!!!!! In exactly 3 weeks, we will have been on the plane for about 4 hours and 12 minutes. Which means that most of us will have been up for about 13 or 14 hours. Which means we will most likely have already thrown Tracey out of the plane for constantly talking and singing in Japanese, or whatever language suits her fancy at the time. Which means that a bit less than half of us will have uffy red eyes from crying, or from being slapped in the head after doing something stupid or annoying. This leaves me wondering how many of us will walk off the plane at all, and without injuries.
But, then I suppose by the end of the trip, we may have a tighter bond as friends and not be able to live without each other when we get back tp Australia. pfft . . . what am I saying? We'll be tired of each other and someone will come home with their feelings hurt. Maybe.
Anyway, I have some answers to yesterday's questions:
From Prue - Other than get on the plane I want to buy some undies that have the aussie flag on them.
Sometimes I wonder whether she does anything than do stuff with knickers . . . .
And although she's not coming on the trip, I feel that I should give you Emily's answer as well, cause she's going to Thailand the day before we leave, and gets back the same day as us.
From Emily - i wanna buy one of those big blocks of Toblerone. they are yummyful!
There we have answers to some questions.
So today, I spent my time packing for America. And I can hear you all shaking your heads and grinning in a funny way, calling me a loser and a few other hurtful, but pleasant names. I only have about 6 days left of being at home before we leave, so I have to start a lot earlier than I originally planned. I found that I had to write a list of all the stuff I need to buy BEFORE we leave, and it's longer than the 'clothes to bring' list. Not exactly encouraging. But, it doesn't seem to fill my suitcase up too much. Not that I've packed it yet, but just estimating.
Good news has finally reached our ears . . . or eyes. Or even, bank accounts!!!!!!
At this current second in time, the AUS $ is sitting at 69 US cents! Up 2 cents since yesterday!!!!!!!! This is the first time it's been above 67 cents in more than a month. This means that we might reach 75 cents by the time we leave. And we'd have about $100 US more than we did before hand!!!!!
Anyway, tonight's question is - ""One thing you think you'll reget doing in America"" This can be anything guys!!!! Make it fun/funny/humourous to me. Any of the above.
Love you lots
Amanda
PS I posted this before 10 tonight. I thought you might appreciate it.
