80 Days!!

Alright, so it's about 11.4 weeks until we skedaddle out of the country and hijack our where to Hollywood, where we make a name for ourselves. Only to leave 3 weeks later to come here. Where we are no-one. No one I hear you say? You're right, we are ourselves.

Now, onto the countdown. You know, at the moment I feel like I'm hosting a radio show. If only I had music and guest appearances. I should work on that . . .

So, it's 80 days to go, and the Aus $ is still sitting at 69.9 USc. That's probably because it doesn't fluctuate over the weekend. Der.

I would also like to make a reprieve from when I was talking about Pike Place Market. My host has told me that you can't go to Seattle without going there. So make sure you go there!

Here's an ice breaker to ask your host - "If you were to come to Australia, what would you want to see" you'll be surprised by the answers. =]

So, today's recommendation of visitation (if you say that real slow, it kinda rhymes) is:

Woodland Park Zoo. Not as well known as the San Diego Zoo, but to hell with it.

""For more than 100 years, Woodland Park Zoo has been a cherished community resource and a unique urban oasis. Generations of Puget Sound families have come to the zoo to marvel at the animals and be inspired by the peaceful and beautiful surroundings.
Woodland Park Zoo encompasses 92 acres and features more than 1,090 individual animals representing nearly 300 species. The grounds are divided into what are known as bio climatic zones, the unique habitats around the world, from tropical rain forests to the frigid climes of the Far North.
The zoo manages the largest live animal collection in Washington state, with approximately 1,100 specimens representing nearly 300 species including invertebrates. The zoo provides a home for 35 endangered and five threatened animal species. The zoo’s botanical collection includes 7,000 trees and more than 50,000 shrubs and herbs representing more than 1,000 species.""

There you have it, it's quite an extensive zoo, obviously.

So, Wednesday is what, 3 days away, so that gives you about 5 days to steal your mums wallet and run top the post office to pay it off. Have fun.

Until tomorrow,

Take Care
