So, since yesterday a whole day has passed, and impending trip to America reaches to us.
The Aus $ is currently (at exactly 6:30pm) 67 US c. Pretty much the same as yesterday, but before rounding is a bit higher. Which is good.
Yesterday was the last of our interviews, but hopefully after our trip I'll have a few more, plus extra information. That's weird, thinking about having already been to America, yet not knowing what to expect, how I'll feel or anything. I suppose one would could be impatient, yet optimistic.
Today's Thursday, one day past the due date for our final payment. Remember though, no need to worry, you have until you can get it to them (preferable sooner rather than later) to pay them. I'm sure they wouldn't want you dieing from starvation, then they just have to give their money back to your family.
Today's review is of Blake Island State Park -
""Blake Island State Park is a 475-acre marine camping park with five miles of saltwater beach shoreline providing magnificent views of the Olympic Mountains and the Seattle skyline. The park is only reachable by tour boat or private boat. Indian-style salmon dinners and demonstrations of Northwest Indian dancing are offered at Tillicum Village, a concession on the island.""
It sounds rather interesting, so maybe a good spot to bring up with your host families.
Also, in the daily notices today, there was an announcement that some spaces were available, if anyone wanted to go. So, ask your best friends if you think they'll want to fork out some cash to come along as well.
If your host has mentioned any great places to visit, send me an email and I'll add them to the list of places to visit.
If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to ask =].
Until tomorrow,
Take care
Amanda
