Okay, today's review is of Deception Pass State Park:
""Deception Pass State Park is a 4,134-acre marine and camping park with 77,000 feet of saltwater shoreline, and 33,900 feet of freshwater shoreline on three lakes. Rugged cliffs drop to meet the turbulent waters of Deception Pass. The park is outstanding for breath-taking views, old-growth forests and abundant wildlife.""
Today, we're going to be doing something completely and utterly different. Have you ever been on a drive so long you'll think you'll combust from boredom, and your hopes for sleep are disturbed by your siblings arguing, or chattering on about their barbie dolls? Well, just in case small children are on our flight to America I've decided to compile a list of plane games. Or something to ease your boredom. Feel free to email me any that you love/have played before/ heard of.
So we have;
A few of these are really weird:
- Black Magic: This game sounds a little complicated but is great fun to play. Basically, someone decides a rule and keeps it a secret and the other players have to try and guess it by asking questions.Let’s say you decide the rule is, any question asked about a black object is answered “yes”. The questions might go like this:Is it Mum"s sweater? A. No Is it the car seat covers? A. No Is it the seat belt? A. Yes (because it’s black)Is it the box of tissues? A. No Is it the console? A. Yes (because it’s black)Each player takes a turn to ask a question until they work out the pattern. As they work it out, they drop out of the game, leaving the remaining players to figure it out.Other ideas for rules might be, every object that contains the letter “a” is answered “yes”. You could also try objects that contain a double letter, like “tissue” or “book”.
- Continuous story: A player has one minute to tell a story (about absolutely anything, true or silly). The next person continues the story for one minute, using their imagination and taking the story in any direction. Each person gets a turn and the story can get funnier and zanier.
- Countries/Cities/Places: With this one, you start naming countries/cities/places beginning with any letter you like (i.e. B, Belgium). The next person has to say the country beginning with the last letter of the previous country (i.e M, Mexico). And it continues until you get bored. you can also do this with food, or pieces of clothing or such.
Until Tomorrow,
Amanda
Take Care
xx
